Saw something interesting from 247Sports yesterday (excellent YouTube channel). As of May 6th there are more early commits this year than 2020 and 2019 combined. 627 early commits this year compared to 302 in 2020 and 243 in 2019.

Willis and Lewis would be the best LB class we have gotten since Curt Maggit and AJ Johnson in 2011. Add even just one in either Colson or Mondon and this would be the best LB class we have gotten in well over a decade! Let that sink in for a minute.

I've not been following recruiting this last bit but the string of high rated commits has my attention. Do we feel good about them sticking it all the way out and signing?

The last class to have 3 4*+ LBs was 2005 with Gerald Williams, Rico McCoy and Andre Mathis. The last class to sign 2 LBs with a rivals rating of 6.0 or higher “elite” was 2009 with Jerod Askew and Marlon Walls.

Fellas this 2021 Line Backer class could be on a historic level.

I recall watching us play in '05. I love Fulmer, hes the battle captain.
