Take a minute, look at the nfl star power on that team and how dominate they were down the stretch.

They would have the elite CBs to slow down LSUs Wrs and they could control the tempo with that OLine and zeke Elliot i think. They ran for like 300 yards on that bama front which people wanted to claim was the best ever.

You've got the benefit of hindsight there. Let's see how these LSU players do in the league.

Who would you propose they play instead? They’ve now beat 5 of the top 10 teams. They are far and away the best team in college football.

This LSU defense really isn’t that bad. They give up a lot because their offense scores so much.

LSU would shut down the run game and dare JT Barrett to make plays in the passing game. Score would be about like this. Burrow and his WRs are special. NFL production will likely be there too

This LSU team is definitely in the conversation especially Bc of burrow. They would have a huge QB advantage. But i think Meyer is a huge coaching advantage vs Ed O. That OSU team had 4 first rounders in their secondary and bosa up front so they would bother burrow imo. Pair that with how well they ran the ball with zeke/cardale and those OL it would be a fantastic game.

Comparing a high volume Heisman winner, with an anomalous season, to a low volume passer every day QB...seems legit.

Fwiw, before this, his extreme breakout season, Burrow threw over 3 seasons for 3,181 yards on 418 attempts, for a very normal 7.6 YPA.

JG through his 3 years has 5,062 yards on 642 attempts...7.9 YPA.
