I agree with most of that tbh. I don’t think Kirby is elite, but he’s done a nice job there. Winning a conference title, making the playoff, and three consecutive 11+ win season is impressive. Don’t care how anyone wants to spin it.

Hes a good coach. I just don't know if he is going to be elite. Great recruiter though.

UGA’s recruiting alone is enough to keep them where they’re at. It’s not like Kirby isn’t one of the better defensive minds in the college game either. I think Pruitt can be just as good, if not better, once he’s established. The Coley hire for them looks like a mistake.

I know that because I’ve heard people in that building say as much over there. Brian was brought in here to recruit on an elite level. And he’s done exactly that. My point is, he’s not the only elite recruiter out there. With Phil’s commitment to football, I can almost guarantee you that we’d find a suitable replacement. I’d love for Brian to be here for years to come, but if he leaves, I don’t think anyone needs to soil their drawers.

He’s not going anywhere anyway. No one can or will outbid UT. Unless they make him a coordinator at a bigtime job but that’s not happening anytime soon. He’d take a paycut to be an OC at a smaller school.

Truth is he’s an elite recruiter and other schools will continue to want him, rumors will continue to fly, but unless Pruitt and Fulmer want him to leave he’s not going anywhere. And you’re underestimating his recruiting worth. He’s the best young recruiter in the country, hands down.

My opinion is that Kirby Smart has done a nice job at Georgia. My opinion is that Kiffin is a good football coach. My fear is that Atlanta Vol is going to miss again. My opinion is that Niedermeyer is a great recruiter, but isn’t irreplaceable. My opinion is that Bruce is a better basketball coach than Rick. Is all of this against the law? I’m a Tennessee Volunteer until the day I die but that doesn’t mean I can’t hold opinions that aren’t always pie in the sky regarding things that have to do with this university.
