Thanks to the 25 limit, it has made it easier for other teams to be competitive again. There isn’t room for all the best players on all the good teams. So you will see it even out eventually.
Not sure about that. Seems like most the highest rated players are going to the team at the top of each conference projected to make the PO 3 out of 4 years. Very unusual for a team like Tennessee to get two 5* players like WM and DW. Afraid it will continue to get worse as it becomes even more apparent that 6 teams have 90% chance of getting there.

I think an 8 team playoff will help.

Yeah, we can spend months going back and forth debating this. You're speculation is no more valuable than my own though, so it's a pointless exercise.

We'll see what happens. I like Beasley's size and think he can contribute somewhere, but who knows if he earns any starts or not.
His size? Lol, ok.

Yea, we’ll see. Doubtful he gets any meaningful starts, save for injury.

It’s been proven time and time again that 5* don’t matter. Just because a handful of highly recruited players are going to these schools isn’t the reason for them making it. It is coaching. Does it help sometimes? Of course. However, again there are tons of 4 star players out there and there aren’t enough teams for them to play on. So again, with the 25 limit it is evening things out. The 25 limit has only been in place for a few of years. It takes time for that to catch up.

Yep , probably over half athletes don't play school.
I really believe UT actually conscientiously tries to educate these kids. I have noticed kids that come in sounding really bad start to speak, and carry themselves better over time.

Like I said...The Thornton center works wonders.

As it should. There is no reason to attend college on an athletic scholarship and not leave as a more educated member of society.

I do agree with this, it's been really easy to see in just one year under this group of coaches. Thanks for elaborating.
