Step son home from college walked in on him watching Irishman I caught about 10 minutes worth and immediately left the room. It looks great didn’t want to spoil it anymore for myself. I will for sure be watching from start to finish soon

Hey guys, to each his own. If you want to not pay attention to the entire body of work I've done, that's fine. We have a Black Friday sale going on today and I tweeted out about 15 of our best-selling stories in the past year or so. If you want to get mad about one that's more explanatory than negative, that's fine. If you want to get mad about a couple cherry-picked tweets pulled out of context, that's fine. But it's also intellectually dishonest.

This is my Twitter account. I tweeted a bunch of stories this morning our readers loved that if you haven't subscribed, you've missed this year. People on this board who want to feed off tweets they think are too negative can do so if they please. Get angry about me being "too negative" if you want. But I don't really care about writing "positive" or "negative" stories. I care about writing stories that allow our readers to learn new things. I hope you'll check us out and not play the outrage groupthink game. Thanks!

Got to here and was afraid to read further

I will never subscribe to the athletic as long as you write for them.

"Learn new things"

Awesome. I'll start with the dysfunction of the last decade, since we missed that and all.
Here I was blindly focusing on the positives of now, and almost didn't redirect my attention to the pile of **** we're trying to forget. And trying to make recruits forget for that matter

But thanks for shining the light on such well hidden events.👍

You are a horrible writer, accept it.

@Dooby15 , Cookshack makes an outstanding home electric smoker. They make commercial smokers for large chain restaurants but have some smaller models that are built like tanks. Had one for about 15 years and love it! A couple chunks of wood at the beginning and you just leave it...ribs, brisket, and, of course, pork shoulder. I used to have an offset grill I smoked meat on using coals from a hickory fire, but went electric when I moved to Texas with all the dryness and fire danger. These units are a little pricier these days, but great quality if they still make them the same way. SM025: Smokette Elite: Cookshack Electric Smoker Oven
Thank you for that. Found a similar one that is priced cheaper but still made in the US. Do you know anything about the Smokin-It brand?

Because he’s earned it.
He's done well, but the expectation was 7-5 for this year. How many jobs do you get a raise for just meeting the expectations? I really like Pruitt, so it's all good either way. Don't see him leaving anytime soon. Hopefully the expectations keep rising and he keeps hitting or exceeding them.

Just no. Homemade or GTFO.
Ok, I see there's confusion about store bought sausage balls. Let me reiterate what has transpired in the last few hours.

*Bass had a hankering for sausage balls. I posted a picture of Tennessee Pride frozen sausage balls that are delicious and simple to make. My wife has made them the last few Christmases, so she could spend more time with me and the kids and less time in the kitchen. So if Bass really wanted sausage balls, he could have feasibly been eating sausage balls within the hour.

I'll explain:

If Bass lives within 15 minutes of a Walmart, he could drive there and back home in 30 minutes. I would suggest preheating the oven before leaving his house. (This sounds complicated but it is possible to do, the oven does all the work, you just have to set it to preheat or simply turn it on.) Moving on, if he spent 5 minutes in the frozen food section and 10 minutes in line (or vice versa), then he could be on his return trip home in 15 minutes. VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT GET A BUGGY UPON ENTERING WALMART, this will kill any chance of exiting Walmart in the 15 minute time range. Bass returns home, puts the sausage balls on a pan, places them into the preheated oven, and in 14-16 minutes is enjoying the sausage balls he was craving less than an hour earlier.
I was simply trying to help a fellow VOL fan out last night. I apologize to all that were offended by suggesting that anyone should eat store bought sausage balls. My apologies VN.

GO BIG ORANGE

We learned a lot about you...rather quickly. All’s it took was you abandoning the annoying well written stuff and plying your comedic, trolling entertainment chops for us on the Twitter. Then it merely became a choice between a subscription to the Athletic or purchase of jock itch ointment...I stand by my purchase! I’ll raise your “don’t care” and double or nothing on DGAF! 😎

I like your work @David Ubben and I also subscribe to the Athletic. Thanks for the good reads on a consistent basis.

If you want to teach people new things, partner with someone who understands football from a schematic stand point, have them give real opinions and analysis and use the athletics access to graphics and game tape to allow them to break down film. There’s nothing in Knoxville media like that.
