well,i don't think they expected much to be honest, he's out there only becaue of a very specific set of circumstances.......at least he has some game tape now, maybe he learns?

gotta get in shape and stay healthy. and hopefully by next fall he's in the fold to be a contributor.

nothing. i don't even think they were sure whether or not he was going to practice today....i'm sure we'll find out later when the practice reports come out....at least if he wa there, and what, if anything, he was doing during the open period.

Practicing later tonight. We will know soon. Doubt he does anything during media period

It's nice to have him step up because after the first couple of games, I considered him our 3rd option behind Chandler and Gray. He might have worked himself to be the #1 back right now.

I know Ainge was going on all morning that Maurer wouldn't play this weekend and could be out for awhile, but I don't think he really has any inside info and is just assuming two concussions in two consecutive weeks. I'm not sure it was ever even confirmed he had one last week. Can't you be placed in the protocol out of caution, and not actually have a concussion?

Don’t know about college but 2nd concussion protocol is different than the first in the nfl. Usually you have to miss a game after the 2nd one bc the symptom free periods are extended.

Small sample size of plays for BM, but I get your point. These stats cannot be ignored.

Guess I'm just hoping this is more of a neck thing(as speculated previously) and less of a concussion thing. Wishful thinking. Don't want to see the kid get his brain scrambled and have lifelong problems, but really hoping he can somehow play this weekend.
