I got into a brouhaha with some guy who wrote an article about the “start or depart” nature of college QBs. He was trading licks with me and this other guy after we called out something false. He said “Read the story Sweetheart”

Isn’t the idea to get people to want to follow you?

Hopefully a wrinkle on 3rd down defense tonight will be telling Jeff Jarnigan to stop with that goofy “it’s third down” voice followed up by GnR. It’s really getting old.

I like the idea of something to fire up the players and crowd but that combo just isn’t working.

Watching closely, the majority of the DL are hustling on most plays. DT? Nope.

Yep. I haven’t commented on last weeks game and this probably isn’t the prevailing opinion but I didn’t think the interior DL played bad. I didn’t think the OL played bad either. Sure they made some mistakes but they played well enough for us to win. I thought the edge defenders and LBs were awful, neither coordinator was good and the QB, even though his numbers don’t look bad, was awful and isn’t a bit better than he was his freshman year.

For all the talk about us not being able to run the ball, we had like almost 80 yards in the first quarter right? Then we start going 5 wide?
