Honestly, any song that reminds me of my dad chokes me up. That wound is still raw.

This song came out last year, I think, and it busts me up every time. Horrible driving down the road and trying not to cry(and failing). Five days and it will be 4 years since I lost my dad. Miss him every single day.

Oh, that one gets me too.

And since I’ve been blessed with girls, here’s another song, but to my girls. They’ll grow up and find their love, but I’ll always be their first love and the one that loves them the most.

Are you a Yankee? You like MY and said soda?

Nope born and raised in East TN. Lol. I like Mello Yello and Mountain Dew. I like Mello Yello better, but like both very much. Sometimes in the mood for one or the other. Also, I do call it soda. My whole family calls all soda "coke" which I found confusing and as a young teen saying "pop" sounded lame/old timey (not a bad thing but as a kid you think differently haha) so I stuck with soda. I know that's not very southern but oh well. It be what it be.

You got a recipe that you use?

Havent perfected anything yet but a way to just leave it to the sauce is a mix of kosher salt and black pepper. I eyeball it. Before I put them in I sprinkle the salt/pepper mix on each wing. Gives it a solid taste for when you toss it in your favorite sauce. Theres a spicey bbq sauce called stubb's (I think) that really good.
