With Henry Ford, it might have been a situation where if he wasn't drafted in first handful of rounds then he wouldn't be signing. Just speculating.

Surprised he didn’t go in the 2nd or 3rd. Pretty sure he was a top 100 prospect. Assuming that he was telling teams his number and they didn’t like the price. At that point nobody is gonna waste a pick on someone who won’t sign.

Pretty good fallback option spending a year in Knox and improving his draft stock.
