How's this for a predicted class (committed in bold):

QB- Faizon Brandon
RB- Savion Hiter
WR- Tyreek King, Legend Bey, Tristen Keys
TE- Carson Sneed
OL- Gabriel Osenda, Edward Baker, Kamari Blair, Jabian Shabazz
DL- Doreon Albert, Darryl Rivers
EDGE- CJ Edwards, Hezekiah Harris, Kedric Golston II
SDE- Zach Groves
LB- Brayden Rouse, Braylon Outlaw, TJ White
CB- Jamyan Theodore, Zay Anderson, Javonte Smith
S- Luke Thompson, Jowell Combay, KJ McClain
ATH- Joel Wyatt

May get Givens instead of Harris. Possibility of getting Darius Gray, as well, but not ready to predict it. Looks like we'll miss on Tutt, but if we get the above class, I'd be over the moon.

bolding JB shabazz for ya but yeah this would be juicy

my only thoughts are we usually identify 1-2 players once season starts who are relative nobody's right now and pursue them and they end up 90.00 4* and committed, has happened i believe every year under CJH

Flip side is -everyone has written Aguilar off.

How good would it look if he started for us and Heupel got him drafted. Good look for QB recruiting (even though we’re already doing well there).

We need to start putting more guys in the league. And we only have like 10 seniors on this 2025 team.

I’m really hoping guys like Bryson Eason, Star Thomas, Aguilar, and Andre Turrentine play their way on to NFL radars this season.

Eason no doubt is already on radars. I think he has a big year and gets a 5-6 round grade. He was a few inches away from a few more sacks last year (and held more than a few times badly). Our DT's have been too dominant for too long not to start seeing them drafted every year. ONL already getting rave reviews by his teammates so far.

I have been watching Star Thomas film a bit lately and think he's a real dark horse pick for a quiet 900/400 season and a late round eval. He compliments our offense and what our other RB's do so well. It was such a great portal add

Didn’t want to bump his thread because we’re not in it but u remember months ago he decommitted from uscjr right after visiting us and it felt like he was a vol.

Fast forward a few months and we got two elite elite linebackers and moved on from this kid.

Wonder where he ends up.

Random shot in the dark I’m gonna say Deion U

It's Bama, they don't know anything outside of Bama.

Uh really bad troll job if that’s what it is. Unless they’re trolling deboer. I don’t get it.

Also, butch ruined that phrase for the whole world. Nobody should ever use it again, unless they’re trolling deboer want to be cursed to cause false hope, underperform, and collapse.

I was there with my dad. I remember saying to him at halftime that things were going to get really uncomfortable for Butch if we lost to Florida yet again after blowing it in 2014 and 2015. Then the second half happened. One of my favorite games.
Idk why but I'll always remember how confident I was the entire game. Had to keep the 247 game thread from completely imploding. The yardage was similar all game, the scoreboard just wasn't reflecting it yet. It just felt like we were playing toe to toe. Then the floodgates opened.

To me it was the opposite of the Bama game. Like...no way we pull this off. They have Bryce freakin Young (compared to Florida's Applebee's 😅). If we lost to that bum, Butch would have been gone real fast. Glad things worked out like they did...no matter the pain of 2017 😎

Disco was still popular.

But disco had as many -- if not more -- detractors as it had fans, and one of the most vehement “discophobes” was Chicago radio DJ Steve Dahl. It was Dahl, along with Bill Veeck’s son Mike (at that time the White Sox promotions director), who came up with a way to both boost Comiskey’s flagging attendance and promote Dahl’s employer, WLUP 97.9.

And Disco Demolition Night was born.

In a nod to the station’s call numbers, tickets were priced at 98 cents for anyone who brought disco records to the ballpark, records that would be blown up on the field between games. The response was overwhelming; Comiskey filled to capacity, and approximately 20,000 people were forced to remain outside. (In a stroke of horrible luck, July 12 was also half-price Teen Night, which had been scheduled before a rainout necessitated this twin bill.)

“I remember being surprised that that many people showed up,” Dahl said in 2019 during an event commemorating the 40th anniversary of that fateful evening. “Back then the Sox drew maybe 9,000 people on a good night. If I tripled that, the place would still be half empty. I was really surprised by the response.”

To say Comiskey Park was not prepared for the onslaught is an understatement. When collection boxes overflowed, attendees brought their records to their seats -- and with security personnel dealing with the crush at the gates, fans soon turned those LPs into projectiles. Play was stopped multiple times, as beer and lighters and firecrackers joined the albums on the field, before the game ended in a White Sox loss.

That was just the opening act.

As planned, the collected records were brought out to center field, and Dahl himself set off the explosion. A crater appeared in the grass, flames and vinyl shards shot into the air, and thousands of fans poured out of the stands. Foul poles were climbed. Bonfires were lit. Batting cages were toppled and bases removed. Despite pleas from Bill Veeck, Dahl and stadium announcer Harry Caray to disperse, the crowd remained until riot police arrived.

With the field unplayable, the second game of the doubleheader was at first postponed, but legendary Tigers manager Sparky Anderson demanded a forfeit on the grounds that the White Sox did not provide suitable conditions. It was the fourth time in the expansion era that a game was forfeited.

Anyone played College Football yet? Just got it today and looking at UT’s roster, there are a ton of random, EA created players. Hopefully a roster update happens soon.
