Noel Redding, Mitch Mitchell are allsum.

People talk about how great Hendrix was. How great Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton et al are. And they are. Listening to Jimmy long enough, (esp on vinyl) there is 0 wasted movement. His brain must've been working on pure muscle memory

My point is that all those amazing bands, Zepp, Experience, Cream are so well practiced. Supporting members so accomplished in their own right. JPJ was a classicly trained musicion for heaven sakes.

The tightness, sync between bass, drums, and guitar is really what makes that music shine to me. And you dont get that anymore.

Yeah....I probably should've said Simple Man but Lynyrd Skynyrd (pre-crash) is the best Southern rock band ever.


Marshall Tucker > The Allman Brothers (but I do like them both)

I like Zeppelin much better than skynyrd too, but I don't care for black sabbath. I know that's an unpopular opinion but I just don't like them. AC/DC either.
