Of course....another 3 star project.
Seriously, can you guys just make your own forum in here? Everybody is over it man. We're in here to get excited about Tennessee football, not deal with the emotional whirlwind of a bunch of dudes with untreated mental illnesses whose only outlet is trashing 17 year olds who want to come play for the school that you cheer for. It's weird. It's really really weird that you guys do this every single time. FIND A HOBBY. PLEASE.

Ok, morans, I need help. 25th anniversary trip this fall, just the wife and I, kids staying home. Thinking we're going to try something new. Would appreciate any first-hand feedback on either Aruba or Grand Cayman. tyia
We did St Lucia for our honey moon... Jamaica for 10, and we're going back to St Lucia tomorrow for 21. Taking the kids this trip, last vacation before three oldest goes to college. But @VolGee4 is correct Scott it being expensive... We looked there for this trip and I really wanted to make it work but as we kept looking, we loved St Lucia and decided to go back... Different resort this time, plenty to do... And plenty of chill time.

Did St Lucia on my honeymoon. Incredible island.

Finally looking at the upcoming roster...I'd be lying if I said the offensive skill, as it stands, isn't a bit disappointing.

Does anyone see a first or second team All-SEC player on offense? I'm seeing Bishop and Lewis projected as our RB1/RB2. Maybe Matthews or Kitselman could develop into an All-SEC first/second teamer. Heard on OL? That's about as far as the eye can see right now, being optimistic.

I'm thankful for our scheme, which should cover a lot up, as always. Being left with UCLA's QB2 and losing Sampson is a tough road to climb in the SEC, let's be honest. The OL will need to be dominant. I think the run game will find a way to eat, the question will be keeping drives alive through the air.

The defense will be the backbone once again imo and that's fine until Faizon arrives or GMac explodes onto the scene. It's a rebuild year and we need to rebuild for sure. Build depth and grow this year.

Great years ahead is undoubted given the pipeline and elite coaching we have. But I'm worried about the crazy moran histrionics in the meantime. Just focus on the future if you must, morans. It's blinding.
You‘re clueless.

Hadn't made that connection, so good to know. Don't know too much about him as a player admittedly but looked like he has very long arms on first couple plays on HUDL
You still work with Rivals?

So way back in 1980s - 1990s they would have
- USA Today All Americans
- Prep Star All Americans

And then they would have regional player rankings. Football Time in Tennessee actually still does something like that in theirs back pages I believe:

Anyway I would love to see your regional player Top 25 Rankings. Is anyone interested in seeing @allvolrecruiting Top 25 players in the south?

There was like an “All-Dixie” team and it had players from Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Alabama too irrc.

I’m sure many other on here would love to see your personal Top 25-30 players in the “region “.

Do you shoot rainbows out of your butt, too?
NOPE, just apply SIMILAR standards I would if folks used their free speech to diminish my country, my mom, my wife, my kids, or even my dog in a public forum. ESPECIALLY those that redundantly spin a message of choice. ESPECIALLY when they weave things LIKE coaching purges in the middle of recruiting player threads.

I really do like the suggestion to have threads for those opinions that would be less likely for prospects to encounter than in a thread with their name at the top.

Pretty simple really.

There was also SuperPrep.
Then later there were the magazines. Forrest Davis, Allan Something or other. Street & Smith also had a top 25 or so.

Picked up a lot of those rags and supplemented them by listening nightly to Bob Bell and Bill King at WLAC out of Nashville. Had to strain to hear it in very southern middle Tennessee and just across the border in Northern Alabama. Fell in love with my first digital radio and later upgraded to a Sony Walkman. Still have it.

Forrest Davis also had an insufferable tv show.

Will NEVER forget his Peyton take on that show after his commitment……..

“He is no Freddy Kitchens”. Still has a spot in my age impacted memory.

GRIDSCAPE to the rescue. Loved me some Chuck driven content. The rest of the service offerings and competition are now history.

I now sit back in these forums and let folks feed me most of the relevant stuff from the web. Thanks BTW.

Same with the radio guys. Remember following Jay Graham’s recruitment with Bill King. Graham was a HUGE pickup.

The other magazine I was thinking of wasn’t Allen something… it was Jeff Whitaker. Instead of star ratings, he used a weird 10 point scale, but no one was below a 9.00. So Peyton Manning was a 10.00 (as was Josh Booty, the #1 QB in America that year). Al Wilson was a 9.75 (equivalent of a 4*). Some guys were 9.50 (rough equivalent of a 3* today), then there were 9.25 guys. Anyone below that just wasn’t listed or ranked. I liked Whitaker’s rankings better than others back then.

We also went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon. Very nice. I’ve been looking at St. Thomas and St. John for a possible future trip.

Loved Bob Bell and Bill King, back in the day. I’m with you on the straining to listen over here in North West Tennessee.

Had a collection of magazines. Even watched that show with Scott Kennedy and Jamie Newberg. It was produced in Atlanta, and on SS. Was hard as hell to find it, and was on at like 3PM. But loved it.
