Glioblastomas are so much worse than anyone can imagine, man.

I think it’s awesome that you’re the one there for him. It’s gonna be an even tougher road ahead than it is now and it’ll traumatize the F out of you but you’re gonna find out a lot about yourself and you’ll be happy you were fortunate enough to be the one that cared for him.

Best of luck and if you ever wanna chat about it let me know 🤝.

Unfortunately I’ve learned a lot about these the last year. My middle son at 21 was diagnosed with a brain tumor last May. Misdiagnosed by Vandy with Astrocytoma stage 4 and given less than 5 years to live, right in front of him in the room. They were wrong. Further dna testing showed a tumor studied in less than 60 patients worldwide, but is out there being misdiagnosed. We spent the summer at St Jude for proton radiation after surgery. 13 months out now and clear scans. This new Patz1 tumor has a much better prognosis and good chance we don’t see it again from limited data.
Is there a thread with these types of discussions? I learned so much and dove into studies, 133 different tumors, etc and I had a son basically given a death sentence as well as spending time at St Jude. I may be able to help someone in some way.
Last May/This May. Miracle.

You am loving it! Great recruiting day, 52!

Put all those idiots and trolls on ignore! Very pleasant.
Nah man this isn't about the individuals you all call "troll" . This is about the constant everyday bickering and name calling form one to another. There's individuals on here that would argue about the time the sunrises in the morning. Not my cup of tea any more..I'm specifically talking about recruits threads instead of celebrating Rouse committing people were worried about where the trolls were at ...

That is incredible!

And also very sad at the same time that there was a misdiagnosis. My dad presented with focal seizures in his R arm due to tumor being on his primary motor cortex. Misdiagnosed with a stroke for a few months. Took my sister and I pushing for more tests from neurologist while he continued to say seizure. Eventually met with a neurosurgeon who took one look at him (at this point struggling to walk coupled with new imaging) and sent us straight to the ER to check in. Lack of support for glios is also sad. Diagnosed with a prognosis of 6-8 months (he lasted 4). And sent home. That’s just the medical nightmare part. Insurance was a whole other beast. Got off on a tangent but our medical system is broken.

Anyway, my main point was that’s amazing news for your son! And as someone invested in this topic if you start a discussion somewhere I’d be very interested to follow.

I'm not down. Just saying he's more likely to leave because he's successful than to leave because of fan attitude or bad seasons.
He loves Knoxville, so does the family. Just don’t see him leaving anytime soon. He is in the SEC and one coaching at one of the best venues in college football. GBO

Just think abt our lb core next year:

1’s: Carter/Telander
2’s: Spillman/Rouse
3’s: White/Burns

ELITE 🔥🔥🔥
Harmon might be the most talented guy in the room as a freshman. He's going to factor in before Rouse and White...but I get your point. The linebacker room is getting stacked.
