Y'all keep our new grandson born this week in your thoughts and prayers please. Our son and DIL had to take him to Vanderbilt yesterday evening when he stopped breathing while nursing. Ever since, his oxygen levels have been fluctuating a lot . The little fellow is having a rough start.
My grand daughter (Twins) has been back twice in 5 wks. they were premature 4 wks. The have run everything and with lungs being last to develop they switched formula and have determined that she was having acid reflux that was causing the exact same symptoms you described. Poor girls head was cover with over 30 wires for 48 hrs. She seems to be good now last episode about 2 wks. Scary but our thoughts are with you and he is in the right place for the time being to help.

You've done gone too far, Gavin Glitch! You take those words back!

You are the one hanging out with the Commie Lama and following Bama recruiting. I am sitting over here with my good buddy Josh "Bobby Hill" Heupel and wearing all the UT orange I can fit on my body.

Thank you and to all who have prayed and replied as well. Yep being 4 weeks early as he is adds extra stress and worry to us grandparents and parents alike. They live down in Unionville which sits in between Eagleville and Shelbyville for reference. He was born at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. When they called 911, the ambulance took him to Bedford County Hospital. They were testing and monitoring him and they told my son and dil that they would continue to monitor but should consider having him transported to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.. My son and dil called us asking what they should do considering he had an appointment scheduled Monday(tomorrow) with his regular pediatrician. After they told us what his oxygen sats were running we told them to get him headed to Vanderbilt ASAP. Now, they are glad they did!

I won't go into details, but if you know, you really know, you DEEP down understand what I'm about to say..........

I got one of those "WINS" at work life today.

They are rare.
They are elusive.
It's the one customer, member, family member, "old friend", etc.......... that gets in touch, or calls once a year to 16 months for a freaking decade........Always on a Sunday. The conversation always gets heated to the point you want to throw the next person you see through the glass window of the gol.....er...."office" window. You can only say so much without getting fired, or 86xed from family, but you push the envelope. But you know you can't win. Your pissed for the next 2 days because you relive it on Monday with your shrink on how pissed it made you feel...............

You replay the next conversation over and over on lonely drives or when there is nothing on TV. Each time it happens, you learn his tricks, you gain a little knowledge each time he calls. He notices, and changes tactics, you get hit and stumble, but you rebound. You last longer, but he still "wins" in the end.

Finally, after years of gaining knowledge and rehearsing it over and over, you think you're ready.

I call is received. You immediately recognize the voice after the first syllable, and instincts take over. Every question is promptly answered perfectly. He countered. I had the perfect answer. Every single time.
He was down. He knew he'd been knocked down. He said, "Well. I'll have to look into that more closely. Thank you for your time."

I freaking won.

Now....I plan the next call...................I have the upper hand for the first time!

EDIT:
It would be a great short Netflix series.

I dunno. Sounds like a toxic relationship you should let go of if you can. You probably think about it a lot more than they do, if they even do.

I am the true Dalai Lama, not that communist impostor. I saw Bama's recruiting while checking on ours. And I live in Knoxville, home of the University of Tennessee, while you live closer to Vanderbilt...

Also, it seems Tod and Kim heard about your hip replacement; I just saw them hitchhiking through on their way to see you...
