Stacking top LB classes annually now, rather than 1 or 2 studs every other year. Add that to us continuing to put some of the best EDGE prospects in the country on the roster annually and CRG developing NFL caliber DTs... defense going to be nasty for a while.
I have to admit. I most like to see stud LBs on the defensive side. They can 'clean up' so many things. I always think of Dale Jones when I think of Tn Linebacker.

Hubbs on The Zone earlier: Hiter is not saying anything and anyone who says they have a clue what he is going to do is guessing. Thinks he makes a move around September. Said Keys really likes several Vol players and coaches but it will be hard to get him away from his home state. Said NIL will factor in his decision. Also said that will be $9.99 thank you.

So, we may or may not get one or both of them?

The CB we got yesterday from Baylor is actually really solid, recruiting sites just don’t respect Tennessee hsfb that much when it comes to recruiting.

Anderson from Greeneville is hella athletic, the best athlete on the field in his hs games, camped at ut and got an offer then. Not sure if he’ll contribute early but he could end up being a devan swafford/malik foreman type.

Thompson is definitely a ‘meh’ commit, but he’s a legacy guy and could be a decent special teams contributor

I really appreciate this. Thank you so much!

Chalk it up. I don't really care if our QB's are less than great. I'm still happy we have a coach that launched Nico into orbit when he tried to hold us hostage. . . however. . .

I have never seen Heupel have a "bad" QB. Even his worst guys were ok. I also don't think it will be hard to replicate Nico's season and that was enough for the playoffs. I think a bad season from QB's will still have us in the top25.
All Joey has to do, is put air under the ball, like I've seen him do in every highlight and full game I've watched of his dating back to his JUCO highlights.

No, if all 3 miss wide open dudes then there's something else afoot. There's no way you can have 3, 4 and 5 straight QB's do that.

We shall see against Cuse. Somebody is gonna be wide open...we will all hold our breath. Hell, Joey may get the key to the city after the first wide open deep ball he hits! Carry him off the field at that point!

Sorry been a busy day, not sure if someone already mentioned it but do we know for sure he actually got fired? If so, why? He’s been on the beat for so long. What could he possibly have done now to get fired?

He didn’t leave 247 by his choice. Either he was fired or they didn’t renew his contract. Something happened. None of the 247 guys have said anything or acknowledged him leaving. Nor has he acknowledged or thanked them.

Ultimately I think he just jumped the shark. Couldn’t read the room to save his life. Had a holier than though persona. And has annoyed much of the fan base for years.

Final straw was likely how so many Vols current/former athletes were calling him out on the Twitter machine recently. Just wasn’t a good look at all.
