Starter and high beams, 😂. I probably wouldn't remember the one on the right if I didnt look at old cars all the time.
Ricky Skaggs once said he was led into the promised land of bluegrass as a young man.

Trey is so talented. Once of, if not the best bluegrass guitarist ive seen. And Ive seen Bryan Sutton, Larry Keel, Tim Stafford, Dan Tyminski, and many, many more live.

Doesnt even watch the guitar.

Roman, the little kitten we rescued from the road goes for his 5 week appointment tomorrow. His eyes are clear, his energy level is through the roof. So much so that I've given him the nickname "crack kitten" the dude never stops, he's 100mph all the time.

I expect he'll be given the all clear. He has bonded to our most recent feral cat that adopted us a year and a half ago. I've been pleasantly surprised this feral grown cat would be so careful with his little play mate.

We Had someone drop off a few roosters near our house this week. That is common it seems we've got the reputation of people that take in the unwanted. Yes it's inconvenient, but life is life, it all matters. So we roll with it. We literally have about 27 free range roosters we corral into various coops at night.

I'll wait to tell you our story, why we had to give up the official rescue farm and just keep the status quo and help what we can. I'm in my feels tonight and would come completely apart. But I will say this........ Volunteer at your local shelters, walk dogs, read to them, play with the cats. Get them used to people, it can get them adopted. If you own some land do the research, learn about farm animals, if your local rescues take in neglected or unwanted animals offer them a permanent home if you can.

Since COVID and inflation many rescues have stopped taking in, those that haven't are struggling. Donate locally, network..... Offer whatever resources you can. Buy them gift cards, donate food. If you've ever loved an animal along the way in your life honor them by volunteering, by donating, by giving, even an encouraging word.

I think climate change has made all States, warmer. Also, i'm sure its cyclical. Just like is getting feet of snow back in 80's and 90's in winter. Humans havent helped the situation. Its a reality. Warm spells are warmer, hence intensity, voracity, and volume of violent weather.
And we’re now in tornado alley. We almost never got tornadoes until about 30 years ago.

Objective view. 1974 we were 74 degrees on Christmas Day. 1977 it snowed every Sunday in January and I remember thinking on the 15th of March if East Tennessee would ever recover from the Ice Age.

1997 it was so cool that our local pool did not open until July 15th. We had family who moved here that June from Southern California who considered moving back because it was so cool here.

There is no constant. It is all cyclical.
Overall climate is not cyclical. It’s changed. Weather and climate are not the same thing.

Did you fly to Nassau then to Eleuthera or did you fly to Miami and then direct to Eleuthera? I was trying to price it both ways.
Knoxville - Charlotte - N Eleuthera.

We flew into North Eleuthera. It was quite a bit less than flying to Governor's Harbour. A little bit of a drive but didn't bother us.
