Time will tell but we need to agree to disagree. I think you will find that Nico had become a locker room cancer. It's very telling that none of the Offensive players seemed disappointed at all when he left. Whichever QB wins the locker room will be an upgrade (maybe slight) over Nico and his circus. Can't overestimate kids believing in each other and wanting to play together. I think Aguilar and time learning the playbook, protections, checks, etc. is a non issue. He's an experienced College QB. More important for him is time on the grass with Matthews, Staley, etc getting on the same page and getting comfortable with each other. Likely a ton of that going on behind the scenes and out of camera range. I tend to lean with ESPN or whoever it was that had UT projected 5th in SEC. Still riding with a 10 win season.the truth is somewhere in the middle. We'll be middle of the pack. Too much talent to be 11th, not enough to overcome losing your starting QB.
Dale's quotes about "he can make all the throws" and two years ago when he had a good offensive line, he was "outstanding" certainly matches what I've watched on film and I've watched everything I can find on YouTube. Still afraid of him having game changing TO's. Lucky for us, Heup's QB's don't turn the ball over.I hope this young man has a Dalton Knecht kind of year...if he does, then he will become an immediate VFL legend like Hooker and Knecht. Nico and his "people" have to be some of the stupidest MFers on the planet. Being a VFL is a massive blessing in and of itself.
oh i agree. how much better? who knows. issues at WR, backer, and maybe OL coupled with tougher schedule have me selling on 10 wins. 8-4 and somewhere in middle of the pack. pretty good considering. nothing like what dipshit who wrote that article implies. Is joey worse than Nico?
Im not sure. He may actually be a better fit for the style.
