Just didn't have the dudes we had last year...guys that absolutely refused to lose. Guys that would make a play, get a hit or HR, get a strikeout, whatever...whatever was needed, last year's bunch made it happen, time and time again. That mindset/attitude/will seemed to be absent this year.

Arkansas is good, very good. They're my pick to win it. Hope to hell I'm wrong.

I wish I could wish Arky in oblivion in baseball, I can’t. My son was born in Batesville. So I’m cursed because he’s a VOL fan (and a hog fan, dang it) because the best Gitty in the world taught him to be. I raised him right, but Arkansas is his second team . 😖. Though I don’t hate them in football.

I'll hate them for the both of us. I hate everyone that is not a Vol, so it would be quite easy for me.

Caught that as well. They said there was some sort of behind closed doors coaches meeting and it blew up.

Happy Tuesday. This one might be for me. Been overloaded with projects lately.

JUNE 10, 2025: It seems like there is no end to things that need your attention, and you are worn out with trying to fix everything that has gone wrong. There will be an end to this flurry of distractions, but in the meantime you need to calm yourself down and move through every day with the assurance that the Lord will give you the strength to endure. Imagine the fragile ego that marrow has. Unhappy getting paid 1.3 million a year to be a terrible tight end coach and an average at best recruiter simply because Stoops isn’t giving you full reign of the roster anymore.

To be fair maybe he’s on to something. Their roster has been hot garbage the last few years
