I live like an hour from the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and have never been. Heard its fun though.
I'm a amusement/theme park junkie...I'm like a giant kid when we go...I just love em...and I don't care if too cool dudes think that it's lame.

I know why I love em so much, it is because my parents belonged to a really strict Pentecostal sect that thought "worldly amusement" was a big sin. When we would go to or through D-FW (we went through there a lot) my Dad used to take us to this awesome Mexican restaurant called Panchos, and we always drove right past Six Flags over Texas...and I wanted to go ride those big coasters and rides so bad.

So when I got married and got out...one of the first things I did was go to Six Flags in Atlanta and rode the Mindbender 10 times in a row...lol.

We have annual passes and go about 10-12 days a year. Multiple weekends. We don’t have to rush to get it all in at once, we are there enough to enjoy some relaxation and ride the main things the kids want to ride. Plus they are fish and love eating at the character dinners.
Oh...ok, now that makes more sense..that's how we are at Dollywood or Busch Gardens-Sea World when we had season passes there.

If I'm doing a once a decade trip like to Cedar Pointe or Hershey Park...then I spend every last second I can doing stuff...we usually are some of the last ones out..lol.

Unless you have littles, I would skip Disney altogether and go to Universal Studios. Much better for both adults and older kids.

I cannot fill in the half day…only been to Orlando for Disney, Universal, and business.

@Jackcrevol

For roller coasters, can‘t beat Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. Been to a lot of theme parks over the years and Cedar Point was far and away the best park for roller coasters…and I am a roller coaster fan.
I can't wait to go to Epic Universe...everybody in Theme Park land is going gaga over it...it looks awesome.
