I admit I did not watch baseball outside of the SEC this year. After last night, I became a little nervous. So I scouted us vs WF. They hold the advantage in every offensive stat outside of HR. We did play two more games this year so that's why I didn't color coordinate Runs and Sac Flys. We hold the advantage in every defensive and pitching metric (crazy on defense right???). In situations you see a red shading it's because there was a glaring advantage.

We need to crowd the plate and have the bottom of our lineup do whatever it takes to get on base. Specifically we need Peebles and Marin to draw walks and HBP. We need crowded bases for Kilen and Fischer. Bargo is ice cold and we need him to step up tonight.

They are going to score runs. We need to score more.

Well Bargo remains cold, but everything else went according to plan. Didn't have Marin getting three hits and a 3-run bomb on my bingo card. Levi Clark is going to be soooo gooood the next few years. Curley was clutch today and I am so happy for him. He still has the yips on his throws, but he is in the zone at the plate. It took all year to find it, but we found our lineup late in the season.

You've got to hand it to this staff and this team. Did what they had to do to secure a regional host and rose to the occasion.

Now playing their best baseball again at the right time.

If we can find a way to finally take a series over Arkansas that would be incredible.
