I'm from lynchburg VA and they're like that there and the surrounding counties. Just cops everywhere and you live in a perpetual state of fear. Anytime I'm home in VA I'm constantly paranoid. Even when I'm not speeding. Tennessee? Not so much. I do live in Hendersonville now and there are cops everywhere that do nothing. Just makes me wonder how many tax dollars are going to too many cops.

Did not realize all of VA is like that. I've gotten tickets for going 11 over and 12 over. I set my cruise control 10 mph over the speed limit on the highways and those slight variations have gotten me twice. They are literally everywhere. I remember a couple of years ago when the power was out for about a day in my area. The busiest intersection (w like 16 total lanes, 4x4) in the city had no officer directing traffic and it was just a wild free for all going through. I drive 2 more mins and see an officer running radar on one of the main roads...unbelievable.
