Yes...just a horrible performance for a true freshman. He would have only been the leading WR on our team by 204 yards receiving and 2 TD's.I did not realize how sad of a season Williams actually had...I mean part of it was Milroe not being a great passing QB, but goodness just 2 games over 85 yards.

“Speed kills” we see how that statement is benefiting Hyatt in the NFL. Tillman is having a much better pro career so far because he isn’t a one trick ponyTotally disagree. Jeremiah Smith might be the better college player. Ryan Williams is the far better pro prospect. For one reason. Speed kills. Smith looks like he's running in molasses compared to Williams whose feet look like they barely touch the ground.
At the next level Jeremiah Smith will be a Dez Bryant type possession receiver who wins physical one on one battles. Ryan Williams on the other hand will be a Tyreek Hill/Randy Moss type that will take the top off a defense with his game breaking speed.
Ryan Williams is amazing. Don't let a little slump to end his freshman year fool you.
Jeremiah Smith is probably the best wide receiver prospect since Julio Jones. This is absolutely the worst take I’ve read on here in a long time. He would’ve been a top 5 pick in this years draft.Totally disagree. Jeremiah Smith might be the better college player. Ryan Williams is the far better pro prospect. For one reason. Speed kills. He was drafted in the 20th round by the Padres out of high school. The development he had under CFA and usage by CTV was crucial to his success. He was slotted to be starter at UT last season. Glad he left. His words tell the story. Why the either/or framing here? Was Tennessee preventing him from being a #2 pick?
He was upset at our staff using him as the closer his last year at UT. I fully believe they were putting him in the best position for him and the team and would have put him back at starter last year. But I don’t think he trusted our staff to do it. By putting doubt in MLB’s teams’ minds about whether he could start would diminish his pro value. Good for Tony for making a decision for the program. Why the either/or framing here?
