26 class is about to be stacked. I think the staff losing out and honestly being content before departures taught them a lesson. They are going for top talent and making sure to have a great roster. Sometimes mistakes can lead to greater things down the road.
So you're saying that highly qualified adult professionals know how to self-evaluate and make corrections as needed? Who knew.

Totally disagree. Jeremiah Smith might be the better college player. Ryan Williams is the far better pro prospect. For one reason. Speed kills. Smith looks like he's running in molasses compared to Williams whose feet look like they barely touch the ground.

At the next level Jeremiah Smith will be a Dez Bryant type possession receiver who wins physical one on one battles. Ryan Williams on the other hand will be a Tyreek Hill/Randy Moss type that will take the top off a defense with his game breaking speed.

Ryan Williams is amazing. Don't let a little slump to end his freshman year fool you.
This might be one of the worst takes of all time, and that's saying something coming from you.

I did not realize how sad of a season Williams actually had...I mean part of it was Milroe not being a great passing QB, but goodness just 2 games over 85 yards.

Quick glance looks like his stats declined after the UT game. Seem to remember he got the crap knocked out of him a few times. Wonder if that got in his head.

I'm not sure I believe you, considering how much time you spend in West Virginia. . . you ever been to the town where the Whittaker's live?
That is a great point.

I dont think so, maybe. Was in Bluefield and Princeton yesterday, considered a megalopolis. Last week, Welch.

There's a sign posted out yonder by a tree, n' shitter. 'Git.' Is all it says. I believe them.

Yeah being a 17 year old true freshman at just 175 pounds for sure wore him down over the season.

What's even crazier is Thornton went for over 100 3 times, while catching 22 less passes on the season. Thornton also had a 50 or longer catch in 6 games Williams just 3 times

O'Connor has been at Virginia forever never thought he would leave. Goes to show you when rumors of CTV has been mentioned for another job then Vol fans should take it serious instead of laughing. Anything can happen...

I think it highlights that the SEC is top dog in baseball at this point.

Football Big 10 and SEC are pretty close.... in basketball I think you have a few conferences that pay top dollar to win, but baseball it really seems like there is one above all else.

The difference is that TV is the highest paid coach in baseball. O'Connor makes 1.4, and I am willing to bet that State is probably doubling his salary. Baseball there means a lot, and they can fill up a 15,000 seat stadium.
