Not questioning our NC winning HC, but I would much prefer to see Phillips pitch against a lesser team Friday night, and then throw your ace to get you to Sunday unscathed (hopefully), or to extend your season if you got upset the 1st game.

I’m sure that CTV will utilize the pitchers to make the most competitive regional possible.

What's shakin folks? Hope all had a good Memorial Day weekend. I've enjoyed reading through some of the posts regarding Memorial Day and visiting Arlington which I still have on my bucket list. Kind of a cool story bro moment myself. Spent part of yesterday morning with a WWII vet of 38 yrs who is 94 and my mom's "boy friend". We went with him and my mom yesterday morning to place flags on two of his brother's graves who were both killed at Normandy but chose to be buried in a family plot near Brentwood. The 94 yr. old living brother has already made arrangements to be buried at Arlington when he passes. On the way back home, we stopped by Mt. Juliet as he wanted to share a moment with the vet who turned 100 and is a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. So a very touching, poignant day for me as well.
