Does anyone miss the recruiting landscape when Butch was around? It seemed like the entire summer was fun as hell to follow because we were getting new commits every week. It seems like things don't happen that way anymore with the NIL going around

I recall back in the day when western science said the pineal gland, associated with the third eye chakra, was a vestigial organ which may have served some purpose for early man but no longer served a purpose. And now, it appears to not only produce melatonin, derived from tryptamine, which plays a key role in our circadian rhythms, but also potentially produces endogenous DMT, a fellow tryptamine. And also contains microscopic piezoelectric crystals, which DMT-researcher Dr. Richard Strausman has speculated resonate under extreme stress, such as at birth or death, and activate the DMT in order to help guide us on our journey. Perhaps the light at the end of the tunnel.

There is something fishy going on with the pineal gland. I've read that it produces DMT. I've seen some people claim that small amounts are released during our dream state and it creates the crazy dream worlds we have.

Nothing guaranteed in college baseball, especially in the postseason. Happy to not be TV and have to make the decision.

I wish we didn't have a large group of baseball ignorant newbs+a massive group of pure freakin idiots in the fanbase...I hate hearing them dog out our team and awesome coach all freaking season...actually I just hate them...I mean the idiots, not really the newbs, they just don't understand the vagaries of baseball, and probably never will because Tony created a monster the last few years, and they are just incapable of understanding how rare those teams were.

The numbers those teams put up were goat numbers...they justvmay never happen again. Tony will put more great teams on the field, but he may never get close to replicating those teams...me and you understand that, and we can appreciate how much a major accomplishment it is to host a regional after the insane amount of production we lost...they will never get that.

Good way to put it...I visited Arlington as a 10 year old and we watched the changing of the guard...I was 10 years old and I can still remember that feeling.

I get what you’re meaning here and I agree, but the way you worded this makes people think you mean you miss Butch himself, and I hope that’s not what you mean. So I’d recommend you remove the “when Butch was around” part and say “pre-NIL era” instead. Unless you really mean you miss Butch, then uh…… lmao

But recruiting was certainly much more fun to follow pre-NIL. Really gets old how almost every battle nowadays inevitably becomes “it’s a bidding war”. Recruiting was much more exciting 10 years ago.
