Had a friend who had an indoor outdoor cat, had one half good eye. Lived past 14Better picture of Romans (wife named him)eyes. Neither looks good, but his right isn't encouraging, but he does see, he reacts to movement of your finger and tracks some. I'm hoping he can at least keep one functioning eye....... Fingers crossed. Much more playful today. Had a large BM which is good. View attachment 744520

my ex's grandad fought there, as did my grandad.
My grandad grew up barefoot in Coeburn VA coal mines, along with brother and a sister. All had emphysema, which killed them.
The very mention drove one to tears, and other to the ministry.
Glad to hear it!!Doing well - thanks for asking! Been busy lately but still peek in...I got so far behind, even @VolsDoc81TX couldn't see me so I had to skip forward!
My great uncle was as well. Being wounded might have actually helped him. I think the story was that he was put on a ship and found a small corner to himself that allowed him to get through it. I don’t know how long he was there, but he made it back and graduated from Baylor. Died in 1992.My uncle was part of the Battan Death March and spent over 3 years imprisoned.
