The little thing barely made it. The person that almost hit it didn't stop. But I did, and searched the ditch it ran into. I found a small half blind kitten. A little boy with Respiratory and eye infection. Full of fleas.

We gave him two baths, rust colored water due to flea poop, and picked at least 30 fleas off him. I'd estimate he's 5-6 weeks. He's eaten half an Iams dual pack of wet kitten food and is currently sleeping next to my snoring wife. He's full, warm and feels safe. He's succumbed to exhaustion.

Taking him to our vet in the morning for meds he needs......... Looks like the universe decided we need another pet.

That kitten will be your closest friend over the next 15+ years. I rescued a stray kitten in the same situation. She was forever indebted to me.

Sounds fun.

Was gonna head out with my checker rod today. Upon learning that, as per usual, TVA has all generators turning at Wilbur, S Holston, and don't feel like dealing with creeks. Ugh. Blessing and a curse these dams, hydroelectricity. Like why do that?

Anyway, on to recruiting.

How bout this Watts kid? His film is electric. It's generating a lot of buzz, some might say, it's Kila. 🤓
