While their ceilings are much higher, it’s not uncommon for young guys to need more time to develop.

In this system it is important for the qb and receiver make the same read. If the receivers can not make the correct read then the ball gets picked of much of the time. Experience is key. Obviously MM was healthier than Squirrel or Bru, but that doesn't make up for his inexperience.

Yeah as great as Lebron is, I doubt he has the same longevity had he played in that era. The game was just much more physical back then.
