Gonna guess we lose this game. Can’t even put the ball in play with RISP. Haven’t hit a HR in who knows when. Have left probably 12-14 runners on.

Sometimes I get perturbed because we don't try manufacturing runs instead of the Gorilla ball mentality...but it's everywhere now even in MLB. That's why strikeouts are through the roof in baseball everyone is trying for the 3 run homer instead of station to station baseball..

Gorilla ball as you called it had led us to the greatest era in UT baseball and our first National Champiobship. Don’t change your swing and don’t give up many outs to “move” guys over. In some situations it is ok but not often. The reason that there are more strikeouts in MLB is bc guys are averaging 5-6 mph faster with 15-19 inches of break.
