So pitchers arent allowed to start twice in a series? If they are allowed what would be the issue of starting him tmmrw or sunday? He only pitched an inning so surely his arm wouldn’t be sore/tired

Not accounting for the pre game warmups and bullpens. Plus starters are used to the routine. Delays throw them off.

I wouldn't want to walk that far from the couch to the kitchen, . . . then again, that place probably has 4 kitchens and about 40 couches.

Anyone with a brain and eyes could have looked at the weather radar and seen what was coming. I live about 15 miles from the field and it’s raining and storming the last hour. I didn’t even turn the TV on as I told my wife they couldn’t play in this weather. They absolutely violated the league rules for starting a game with lightning in the area and it wasn’t even close. My dog has been under the furniture for the last hour and a half.
