GMAC AND Merc? Nothing surprises me anymore. Faizon is really really good, right now. But lets not discount Mac. Kid is apparently a sponge, and has a ton of natural gifts.

Faizon will get the keys. Is he patient enough?

This system defiantly takes a year or two to learn it and get comfortable with the level of pre-snap decision making that is needed to be successful. HH was a great example. He was ok his first year, but dude balled out got hisself drafted with his final year. Faizon will get the keys but he won't start his fresh year. Mark and GMac will battle it out. I hope they both stick around. We have recruited the QB position really well. Now we need to hang on to them for a few years.

Wish there was a more concerted effort to revitalizing or rebuilding old homes in established neighborhoods on a larger scale instead of new construction destroying beautiful rural areas.

People do it but its all smaller contractors and not at the scale. Plus they overpriced the homes, don't fix major foundation issues, and often do a shoddy job.

I think the show is mid tier along several reasons:

SW wasnt intended for adults.
SW is an action series.

Character development lags in favor of beautiful CG (which is amazing fwiw), and fantastic acting.

Diego Luna has redefined that role. Was great and Miguel Angel in Narcos.

I don't think Faizon starts next year- Heupel hasn't shown that he'll let talent trump experience. I was saying if he does then I could see one or both leaving. I think GMac will get any garbage time reps available this year and show out then surpass Merk in the offseason. I think sitting Faizon a year and getting him acclimated to teammates, weight-roomed, and familiar with playbook is the smart play unless he just comes in ready for the NFL

But now the kids it was made for are adults, and adults crave prestige dramas.

Not that Andor is a bad or poorly made show, but I like my Star Wars kind of ridiculous and less heavy. Space wizardry and stuff like that.

Sewanee has such a beautiful campus, good education and loads of money.

If you have never been to a football game at Seawane I would highly recommend it. First they have the oldest stadium in the South and it is really cool. It is like going to a medieval gladiatorial competition. All the games are at noon, slow time. The students all walk in together, most of them half in the bag, just like the fans used to march into games back in the olden days. The football is not great but I have seen some very good games there, the experience is worth it if your into old stuff. Campus is gorgeous as well.
Note to yankees: Just come to visit, don't think about moving here. The people are horrible, backwards, ignorant hillbillies who will steal your sh!t and will have Klan rallies on your property.

The sheer amount of Star Wars lore is massive, I think there is space for both and really almost any kind of content. Heavy stuff isn't for everyone though and SW has certainly always run more off campy and "rule of cool" which has largely always worked for it. Personally, I love the show and what it has to say but to each their own.

I would certainly never begrudge anyone for their tastes, and I like those kinds of shows too, just not in Star Wars -- but again, that's all personal preference, not something I think should be any kind of rule.
