Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Here’s an impossible question - what is the most beautiful county in Tennessee? I’ll go with Johnson or Carter County (mountains). Putnam and Overton are great too (Plateau).
I'm originally from Carter County, and it's truly beautiful. But honestly, all of Northeast Tennessee's countryside is. From Grainger to Carter, the region is full of natural charm. Unfortunately, with all the new construction and transplants moving in, much of that beauty is slowly being lost.

Wouldn’t want that to be a pic of my daughter.
If her dad posts on VN, I'll be more than happy to give her a stern talking to.

Just got word that after 28 years of service to my great city I will be receiving a 1% pay increase. I am a little overwhelmed and at a loss for what to do with this windfall. Should I pull a Clark Griswold and put a deposit on a pool, buy more Tesla stock, replace my doormat, or bump my Spyre contribution? Tax assessment went up 42% BTW.

TIA
Back to back idiots is what happened.

I love it all up there - Laurel Bloomery, Mountain City, Elizabethton, Roan Mountain, Erwin, you name it!

Wonder who has been to all of them. I’ve hit a fair share but would have to think about it.
Before he passed in 2015 my dad and I always used to talk about taking a summer raodtrip across all 95 counties and staying a night in each county seat. Think I’ll do that with my sons when they’re a little older. What a special state we call home!
