Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Yes. Because that's still a 1st round pick and that's what ultimately matters. Hyatt wasn't known to anyone outside of Tenn fans before Heupel. But Hyatt isn't the only offensive player/offensive guy in the NFL. If our coaches can't defeat negative talk they need to hire a recruiter who can because it's easy to sell the success we've had.
Shedeur should hire you to represent him. You can explain to everyone that he was actually drafted in the first round.

Lol Haslam ain't no fool
Sampson gone
Eff yes. Wife and I will be at WVBA at Greenbrier in July. That's where Browns stay for training camp. Last year Deshaun Watson and some others were at West 44, and folks were just bothering them all dinner. Went up to them afterward and thanked them for being coop with the kids, signing autographs. Nice guys.

Id hate to be that guy. But, I would ask Dylan (the pro) for an autograph for my son. If timing was right. (Not at dinner).

Starting to wonder if his interviews were similar to Shedeur's.
No way. Super high character guy. I really think it was durability and fumbles. They treat RB's like tissues so a banged up one has less appeal.

Pearce was our guy that likely struggled with interviews and it didn't matter due to measurables and tape.

I'm sure Deshaun Watson is great with kids. It's the 18-21 year old masseuses that you have to watch out for when he's around.

It was a joke. I don't think he'd come across as a self-absorbed, egotistical douche like Shedeur. However, the fact that he's a high character guy doesn't necessarily mean he or anyone else would interview well. Interviewing well is a learned skill.

You think the Haslam's will get DeShaun Watson to take Dylan Sampson to the massage parlors with him?

Tennessee and Heupel just needs a player or two to make it to the NFL and translate to being great players.

The fact that he made Hyatt the most productive WR in college just to become a nobody in the NFL(speaking frankly here). That's called squeezing every ounce of production from a player's ability. To frame that as a negative for Heupel is completely backwards.

The only negative is if NFL GM's shy away from our offense because guys like Hyatt didn't work out. And like I said, the only cure for that is for some skill position players to get drafted and be good NFL players.

TV needs to move Dean to second, put Gavin back at his natural spot at shortstop, and play Manny at third. Dean’s glove has been a liability the past few weeks.
NO way. Need Antiqua glove at SS, That kid has Omar Vizquel potential with the glove. If anything move Fish back to 3rd and Curley to 1st. Surely he can catch throws to 1st.
