I didn’t follow them enough to know their payroll when in Houston, but since they have been in Tennessee it absolutely is not true that they’ve been cheap with the roster. They haven’t always made the best front office or personnel decisions but they haven’t been cheapTrue but the titans always overpay the worst players if they ever do. The Adams family have always tried to be cheap in everything. Hospital ball choke artist Ryan Tannehill making $40+ million per yr was anmove. Kevin Byard got washed real quick. Ridley is the only big contract I can think of that we have spent big lately. He wasn’t worth that at all. Derrick Henry was being paid nothing while being the entire offense after AJ was traded for a washing machine. That trade cursed the franchise.
The titans are the NFL official wr retirement home
I was only talking about free agency when I meant spending big money $18 million+. The other big contracts currently we have on the team we drafted them or traded for them. big Jeff and snead. We did pick up Moore in free agency this year the only one I forgot about. We gonna sit here and act like they werent the first ovr pick for a reason? The new gm hire will be great. It’s clear you don’t know sh*t about sh*t but keep going brother
Just look up Bud Adam’s Astrodome fiasco. Basically tried to Nico his way into getting a new stadium and make the city foot the bill. The turf field literally had potholes in it cause he wouldn’t fix it. Then decided to move the team cause Nashville let the tax payers foot the bill for the big oil billionaire.I didn’t follow them enough to know their payroll when in Houston, but since they have been in Tennessee it absolutely is not true that they’ve been cheap with the roster. What does any of that have to do with the titans?Just look up Bud Adam’s Astrodome fiasco. Basically tried to Nico his way into getting a new stadium and make the city foot the bill. In all fairness, they just drafted two guys whose draft analysis says they need tons of development to even stay in the league. 2nd and 3rd round picks are intended to be day 1 contributors ( not necessarily starters ) not guys that need to be developed for 2-3 years.Lol the Tennessee fans wrinkled their nose at Winston's name. Due likely to not being a known name.
Injury issues are an eek.
It’s way early but not a fan of the Borgonzi/Brinker combo so far. I don’t like drafting the no college production guys, especially with injury concernsIn all fairness, they just drafted two guys whose draft analysis says they need tons of development to even stay in the league. 2nd and 3rd round picks are intended to be day 1 contributors ( not necessarily starters ) not guys that need to be developed for 2-3 years.
Bud Adams owned the titans. He dies. Daughter took it over. The new stadium you guessed it is getting footed mostly by the taxpayers in Nashville and the State. Its going to be over $1 billion dollars in interest loan payments to help build the stadium. With an additional 1.2 billion for taxpayers up frontWhat does any of that have to do with the titans?
Your original post I responded to said they were too cheap to pay players and that isn’t true since they have been in TennesseeBud Adams owned the titans. He dies. Daughter took it over. I love it. Right over the center of the couch (and in other places on the wall), it says, “Perfect Timing”.Update on Sanders after round 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft
