I've actually been thinking that jersey retirement sham may have hurt him.Looks like the NFL is retiring Shedeur's number before giving him one?
Aeration and seeding is a fall activity. Anybody wanting to do that this time of year is trying to rob you of your money.Got a flyer on my mailbox today for aeration & overseeding. . . seems a little steep. . . then again, Idk what the charge normally is for this over the years.

NTM, any coach that gets him is just waiting for Deon to come for his job and continue this football-dad, "just wanna keep coaching my kid" weirdness going.I've actually been thinking that jersey retirement sham may have hurt him.
The NFL Football is a merit-based league, by and large. Nobody likes it when an entitled kid who hasn't achieved anything thinks he's the cream of the crop. Franchises already knew dealing with dad was gonna be a headache, but the retirement might've pushed it even further and exacerbate concerns that Shadeur will be uncoachable and is far more concerned about image than being a pro.
Plus, Deion has a giant microphone that he will use repeatedly over the course of Shadeur's career to publicly criticize whatever franchise takes him.
Travis Hunter is a different story. Dude is far more talented and won the Heisman so deserved a retirement. Plus, Deion isn't his dad.
Shadeur has no measurables, mediocre talent, and mediocre tape. When you stick him beside Hunter and strip things down to who did what, Hunter makes Shadeur look even more mediocre. A lot of chatter pre draft predicted this.I've actually been thinking that jersey retirement sham may have hurt him.

One thing that is a non-starter if I'm picking a first round QB is zero pocket presents. Like a Jewish boy on Christmas.Shadeur has no measurables, mediocre talent, and mediocre tape. On somewhat related note… we’re about to enter the era where Gen 1 of NIL players get hit with their real value. Pay cuts about to happen for a ton of players.

There's a fine line between viral and villian. Self promotion and swagger can get people's attention, arrogance and over promotion gets you enemies. At some point the swagger has to be backed up with results or you just become a fraud, as is SS.I've actually been thinking that jersey retirement sham may have hurt him.
