Why not just give it a chance and it might be alright. Nico was supposed to be the savior and he sucked, plus was a low character INDIVIDUAL. Any starting quarterback from another P5 team that bales on his team in April has the same lack of character as Nico and we don’t need him in Knoxville. We don’t need an NFL quarterback we just need someone that can actually read a defense and make quick, accurate throws. Two things that Nico could not do. Winning the fans is Butch level nonsense.

I would agree except for the fact that Tennessee has really good leadership in place from Boyd to Plowman to White. We have good leadership in place for the first time in years and good leaders don’t listen to a few loud mouth fans. Remember it’s less than 5% of the fans making 95% of the noise. It’s not a coincidence we are highly competitive in all the major sports.

Yes, that could have been worded differently. The way it all went down from the beginning, I'm not surprised it turned out the way it did. I'll put it that way. Nico never seemed fully commited from demands to sit out the first year (from Nicos team?), to being shopped around perhaps even last fall? No, we don't have insider info but from reports, he never seemed to be All Vol. I'm glad we moved on.
