AP came off like someone who has friendly relations with the Iamaleava family and didn’t want to speak ill on anything related to them or what went down. Which makes sense because he became close with them during the recruiting process. But definitely felt like damage control by AP.

I disagree, I think he'll beat 2.4 million......... But I also think it's safe to say he will be making less and have a less desirable supporting cast than he would have if he had just stuck it out here without overplaying his hand.

That's a fair point...but the issue is the staff has 2 seasons with you so they may also have adjusted what they believe he's worth based on potential.

Side A says "we're worth 4 million!"
Side B says "we've worked with you for 2 years now, the original rate is accurate"

So who is responsible for managing expectations?

he is pretty good. His passing a little work in progress but the dude is athletic and can make plays. I witnessed him destroy big 12 teams and he would be interesting for sure.
