Wonder if CJH takes the high road during the press conference after Orange&White game today?
Will he talk about Nico situation or will he revert to the events of the Orange and White game?
Would like to add that CJH has to be torn on the inside. Nico was his Golden Child recruit ....
Has Heupel ever been known to speak his mind about things? I don’t mean that as a swipe at him, but he’s typically pretty quiet on outside noise situations.Wonder if CJH takes the high road during the press conference after Orange&White game today?

I hope that’s the case. Don’t give the greedy little ass any attention.Has Heupel ever been known to speak his mind about things? I don’t mean that as a swipe at him, but he’s typically pretty quiet on outside noise situations.
My guess is that we’ll get a quiet, no speaking pause followed by a “next question”.
Well said. You also can’t ignore the fact we paid him 2 million to sit on the bench as a freshman in college. It’s ludicrous. You have to cut bait and acknowledge that you made an error in your evaluation of him. It happens every year in the NFL draft. Just move on and invest the money in other players. I don’t want him representing my university.Bottom line is the market dictates worth. And while this team went to the playoffs it was riding the defense. Offense was non-existent at times. That's not all on Nico to be fair. But coach had to scheme around Nico and the o line and leaned on the defense.
To come back after 1 year and demand doubling your pay when you only met expectations? It's a little far. And to play hardball as they did while backdoor negotiating other landing spots........ While I get it, it's business. You made it business, you got business. Good luck, but it ain't here anymore. You either want to be here and negotiate in good faith or you don't. You chose the latter, it is what it is.
We'll be fine, hope the same for you.
My 12 yr old grasps that Nico’s camp is redonkulous. He said “Bye Felecia”. We paid him on potential to come to UT. His performance thus far has not garnered a bump. Just greed but I get why since there’s been hardly any structured model in place so it’s whatever the player dictates. I think we’ve seen the end of true collegiate athletics.Think about all the fathers that have to explain this to their 6 and 8 year old sons that idolize Nico
