We made the playoffs entirely because of defense and Sampson

I’m just comparing the QBs. If we didn’t have Sampson last year, who do I think would be the better QB? Merk 100000%

If we relied on Nico last season, we would’ve been lucky to win 7 games.

RBs and a solid defense (particularly at home). Imagine if Hooker, Hyatt and Tillman had this defense and running attack.

I mean…. He struggled bigly last year. Never did really understand the offense. So I am not upset if he leaves.

If he stays hopefully he has learned from all his mistakes…. But like others have said, you can’t have a leader who doesn’t want to be there.

IMO this is too far gone for him to stay. He’s lost the fanbase with this move and, per what some have reported on, the locker room as well, and even the staff is fed up with it. I don’t see how you save face here, because at this point the staff/university, if they cave, are saying one man is worth more than the rest of the roster.

they made it a point to do some heavy complimenting

apparently there was also some "meh" language around Nico when 247 and On3 were putting their top QBs lists together

I’m not reallly upset about nico leaving. Watching him play, never really saw a $2.5 mil QB. Good luck to him wherever he lands. But his dad seems like a real ass. How you call a reporter a b!itch and then pull this?

Here are the CFP championship odds for next year. If we call his bluff and he walks then what team on this list is going to take him? He can’t transfer to any of the SEC schools because of the spring portal rules. This brings me to another question? What’s the best he could do if he leaves?
