Okpara and Cade aren’t good enough offensively to do that. ZZ, Gainey, and Chaz all drove the ball with mostly poor results.

ZZ had poor results. Nobody else was driving. We took 5 3s for every attempt at a shot in the paint. At least try to draw a foul. We are not so bad inside that we just have no hope to drive the ball, it's just hopeless if we're not hitting 3s. That's completely nonsense to say that.

I’m so disappointed. Glad they fought in the second half but what a dud to end the season.

But like I said some time ago, it’s not about what you deserve. These guys deserved it. But they had to go out and take it and we didn’t.

You have to give them credit- they were playing great defense. We missed some open three’s. See what happens when you hit open three’s like Houston just did. Gainey was driving first half too.

And if Izzo doesn’t get in and win it then it’ll be only the 8th active HC in cbb with a NC.

Kelvin Sampson doesn’t have a NC.

Would you have him fired before this season? He’s been a HC at this level since 1987 (minus a 7 year break). He’s been at Houston since the year before Barnes arrived at Tennessee.

Good season. Good run for last 3 years. Some of y'all are more comfortable with mediocrity. When you reach a higher level, the disappointments are worse. When you suck, you are comfortable with sucking because it doesn't hurt as bad.

Just got beat by a better team today. Wish we had brought our A-game but Houston plays elite defense. Will be interesting to watch how they match up with Duke.
