The most impressive win yesterday was by the Lady Vols. For those who don't follow Softball Oklahoma has won 4 National Championship in a Row and 8 overall. Teams just don't go to Norman and beat that juggernaut on their home field. Very impressive win by Lady Vols.

Rick Barnes has been our most important coaching hire since I've been alive. His faith, testimony, and the way he carries himself has spread to the other athletic departments. He's the cornerstone of our coaching stable. We seem to have a bunch of great young adults, that are genuinely good people. I can't remember the last time we had a student athlete on the arrest report.


*Danny White has been the best AD hire UT has ever made. I feel like we are legitimately the example of what all universities strive to be. And he (with others) did it in 4 years.

Convinced that if White had been here earlier, Barnes would never have been in play for UCLA. Ditto for Plowman and Boyd.

This. Honestly that game depends on how Nelson plays against their bigs. The issue with Duke is their ridiculous size. Their smallest player is like the size of Shack I want to say. It's kind of silly.

Not sure if I can find it but they showed a baseline replay during the game. Lanier tipped a sloppy pass and ZZ came up with the loose ball to hit the 3.

I feel like this has been said for Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee at different moments this season. And now Duke as well. Those 5 teams look unstoppable when firing on all cylinders and great but mortal when not.

That said I don’t think any team can rely on shooting that well. Basketball has its zone moments when you know you can do no wrong bu those moments don’t tend to be predictable.

Guys have zero depth perception in this dumb*ss football stadium.

Playing these games in a football stadium is a disservice to literally everyone involved.

I don’t like the basketball court in a football stadium but I can’t figure out how it could possibly affect their depth perception. There are fans behind the basket just like in a basketball arena.

The game last night was my favorite of the year. We dominated without being hot from 3. Every hot shooting team has off nights, but you don't have off nights if you win by dominating the paint and the boards.
