Bruce had the elite 8 in his pocket. Barnes took over as the best when he matched it. Now he’s doubled it, he also has 3 conference championships under his belt. I love Bruce but it’s not a debate at all anymore. Barnes is the best to have ever done it here.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was alluding to.

For the record though, Barnes took over a program that was largely a dumpster fire because of how pearl ran it.

They actually got their first win late last night in the second leg of a doubleheader.

This is the best chance we’ve ever had at making a Final 4. Houston is good, but they’ve scraped by a couple opponents. We’ve mostly dominated ours.

We continue to play like we have and we win.

I’d be intrigued by a hypothetical all Bruce Pearl vs. Rick Barnes team. I appreciate what Pearl did, and I’m also appreciative of Rick’s tenure. I’m soaking every minute of this current run with Barnes.

Ah, the SEC website has the same scoreline for both games played. Shows UF as 0-8 in the daily scores but then in SEC standings shows them 0-9.
