Still the highest rated ever NCAA Championship game ever watched. Crazy..March 26, 1979
"Michigan State grounded The Bird with a touch of Magic and a magnificent zone defense to win its first National Collegiate basketball championship and end Indiana State's chance to achieve an unbeaten season.
Despite a heavy load of personal fouls that created serious problems down the stretch, the Spartans held fast to an early lead and beat the Sycamores, 75‐64, in the final of the 41st National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament before 15,410 persons in the Special Events Center of the University of Utah. The loss was the only one for Indiana State in 34 games this season. Michigan State finished with a 26‐6 record.
Earvin (Magic) Johnson, who played the entire second half with three personal fouls, was his usual spectacular self, scoring 24 points for the winners. Larry Bird, the big man for Indiana State with a three‐year career average of more than 30 points a game, was kept to only 19 points, his lowest scoring game in five NCAA tournament contests."

One of the regional sites that year was at MTSU Murphy Center. UT vs Notre Dame followed by Mich. St. vs Lamar I believe. The place was packed in orange of course. We fell to the Irish in a close one and then watched the Magic perform. I told my buddies that they weren't losing another game and would go on to win it.March 26, 1979

The choice is yours, but choose wisely. VN awaits your selection and we will respect your decision.
You could catch up on 2 seasons of Severance and Silo in a month for less than the price of a single 90-minute movie ticket.People i hang with rave about it, but I don't do apple. I just can't justify another service.
Slay speaks to this a bit on this clip from the ZZ & Butler perspectives.Which we all know this KY game will be personal. Deeply personal. Angry personal.
The bond between Shack, ZZ and Barnes is as tight as any.
The careers of both and maybe all three being potentially over.
The pride on the line for a three time sweep.
The comments by Butler.
I just hope we keep the emotions engaged, but controlled.
