We hurt ourselves by going into the season with 11 guys, then 1 got hurt and 1 quit. Scholarship limit is euther 13 or 15, either way there’s absolutely NO REASON to come into the season with only 11 guys, and 9 guys being ready to play before injuries

Barnes isn’t going to bring someone in that doesn’t fit just for the sake of bringing them in, for better or worse.

I’m sure he didn’t want to bring in a bunch of warm bodies that could’ve negatively impacted the locker room. And most good players aren’t choosing to come be the 12th/13th guy if they have any other decent options.

This game today was called far different than other SEC game. That’s partially why people are upset. There is absolutely no consistency, and they literally can’t make correct calls 6 feet away.

That I agree with. Three consistency had been an issue all year. Today was way different.

It’s not conference but the ref crews are regional via a national pool. TBH the ref setup in basketball is probably more prone to corruption because they’re not held to any conference standards. It’s odd to me that the tv people keep acting as if the SEC just plays more physical ball. These refs are calling SEC games differently. Question is why? Corruption? Politics? favoritism? League asking for more physical play?

I answered this yesterday, but the conference indeed has a pool of their own officials. Some will officiate other conferences because they are independent contractors. But the SEC uses the same group. These 3 today have done SEC all year.

15 is women’s basketball. We weren’t using 2 extra for transfers that would want to play. Would only have been freshmen to develop that wouldn’t have played much anyway. The Estrella injury was huge.

Needed Estrella today. Cade seemed gassed today. We just couldn’t keep up with their presence in the lane.

I liked when we went with the small lineup against their size. Made a run at them, but Florida hit every big shot. Made some absolute back-breaking threes.
