Hopefully the tournament refs will not be so whistle happy. I have said it before, but it's the one thing I hate about basketball. We got within 5 and Mashack fouls out while touching the ball, and they maul us and no whistle. Annoying. Refs have way too much influence.

The SEC has called more fouls than any other conference. The Tournament will likely be officiated much differently than the regular season.

We hurt ourselves by going into the season with 11 guys, then 1 got hurt and 1 quit. Scholarship limit is euther 13 or 15, either way there’s absolutely NO REASON to come into the season with only 11 guys, and 9 guys being ready to play before injuries

They’ll lose in the first two rounds of the tournament.

I think a team that plays a similar style as us can give then problems. Depth matters, they have it.

Honestly I could see them winning the whole thing. They're that good.

I think we can win it but we'll be more dependent on matchups.

Bama, auburn, Houston, duke, Michigan St... All can win it.

Deep field this year, SEC leading the way.

I hoped Milicic would be that guy. We’re better there than we have been. I think Cade has the outside shooter in him. Just has to grow into the role. Excited to see what comes there. No expectations next year for Estrella due to injury.

I’m talking about at all 5 positions also
Were tough and play tough defense but scoring a ton of points is not quite our game

They were awful against us at home, and we didn’t have 2 players. They almost shot as bad as we did at their place.

This league's officiating is trash and corrupt. There's too much money in this league for crap like this to continue in every sport and every big game.

It’s not conference but the ref crews are regional via a national pool. TBH the ref setup in basketball is probably more prone to corruption because they’re not held to any conference standards. It’s odd to me that the tv people keep acting as if the SEC just plays more physical ball. These refs are calling SEC games differently. Question is why? Corruption? Politics? favoritism? League asking for more physical play?
