UF says the SEC tourney doesn’t count. I wish Sankey would get pissed at the Gayt crybaby and call his refs off.
You can forget that happening. And I think the NCAA is giving the orders to the refs for today’s game. I expect this to not be remotely close to a fairly called game. Line opened at -2.5 and is already up to -5.5, if that tells you anything. We are gonna get bent over backwards just like yesterday. Will have to win 5 on 8 again.

We can absolutely go toe to toe with anybody, the guys have proven to be one of the elite teams in CBB this year, but basketball is just weird...any decent team can beat us on "one of those days" when everything goes wrong for us and right for them, and that goes for any team.

It is what makes CBB in March great fun, but also absolutely heartbreaking for every team but one.

This years Dance is wide open imo. There is no UConn that is clearly head and shoulders above the rest, and no Purdue with a 8 foot Mongo that is not only physically impossible to handle...AND...that gets away with breaking every rule in the book thanks to his adoring zebra striped friends.

I love this team and our coach either way...they deserve it.
Broome is the golden boy who gets away with everything this year.

So the latest bracketology on ESPN shows all the automatic qualifiers as 'aq' for having already won their conf tournament.

They know something we don't?

Tennessee is not listed with the 'aq'moniker.

Because Lunardi knows there is no way in Hades that the NCAA will allow us to win today. If the officiating needs to be egregious, it will be, no matter how much it gets called out. If it gets bad, I really hope Rick gets T’d up, and then I hope he blasts the refs on his post-game. He’s already fed up with it. For him to say on the mic when asked to make a case for his team as 1 seed and he says it doesn’t matter to them, should tell you everything you need to know. He knows today’s result will not change anything. That’s fine…we will have an even bigger chip on our shoulder from it. I would love to see us go out and win by 15+ today. That would really force the NCAA’s hand to change the bracket.

I will say if Vols win today and are #2 seed and Florida receives a #1 seed it's a travesty of justice. If by chance this happens then it's true the brackets were completed by Friday afternoon. I will never be on the "they hates us train " because there's 300+ Division 1 schools and I don't believe the Committees and NCAA would just scope out Tennessee to hate in all Athletics...Miami fans use to say the same thing in the 80's and early 2000's ....

How about we stop the Vandy (pack it up and go home) mentality and get a banner today. Boo hoo we are a 2 seed. Who cares, just win.
It is quite victimish.

Everything is out of our control.

However, however, this is second year in a rooow its happened. It isnt logical. Too much money is at stake.

The flip and twist NCAA can get bent. Hell id sue them again. Just for ***** and giggles.

Someone has to be a leader, and step up and do right thing.

What is right and good does not always happen as we know.

I most care about making the FF in The Dance. It is to the point of where we were with Voltello and fhe Diamond Vols a few years ago for me. CRB, staff and the guys deserve it.

If it takes winning 5 on 8 again, so be it. I am hoping that tourney will have officials who will call the game as it is written and intended. I am sick of Sankey's boys doing the dirty for him and B'Ham. I really do not know how they can look at themselves in the mirror each day. With all of the legal emphasis on point shaving, throwing games and such with gambling; to watch officials do it and impact games with obvious BS calls right out in the open on national TV is mind blowing to me. When biased game announcers call it out in real time...

That said I hope we beat the dog shiz out of the Gators today no matter what is thrown at us. If not, we will be fine and just need fair whistles to have a good shot at the FF.

They do hate us though.

Maybe, maybe not. I like being the Underdog that everyone overlooks, too much pressure being the big dog on the porch. I blame this dilemma on Lunardi if he would've kept his trap shut instead if saying" this weekend ever who goes farthest in SEC tournament will get the 4th #1 seed in NCAA tournament" then contradicted his statement 2 days later then everyone would've been fine. Because when Ole Miss beat TENNESSEE everyone believed the #1 seed was gone at that moment. In the end it is what it is. #1 or #2 seed just win and that will shut the talking heads up in the media...

Happy Sunday

March 16, 2025: Quiet your soul and let go of all stress. Access the substance of peace to overcome the pressure of the spiritual weapon formed against you of fear and trepidation. Remember that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and access the peace of God. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

If remember right, last year didn't we lose our number 1 seed to North Carolina because we lost in the quarter finals of The SEC tournament and UNC made it to the finals of the ACC tournament? Conference tournaments only count if they can negatively effect us.
We have too much of a victim mentality around here. Just win, baby!!!

Everyone should know by now that the committee sets its brackets by Saturday night. So the Sunday SEC conference championship games are only for pride. The committee has to set not just the 1 and 2 seeds but the remainder of each opening round 4-some. To move any 1 or 2 seed up or down and to a different region this late would mean they would also need to move the other 3 teams in the 4-some or change all their seeds as well.

Lunardi knows this, that's why he said UT was locked in as a 2 seed after beating Auburn. I kind of prefer staying away from the West region anyway.

Never would've come down to that scenario if Tennessee would've taken care of business and beat Kentucky on Senior Day in last game of regular season conference game.
