Nashville???Eastern time zone is like manna.
East TN starts at Campbell Station Road. W TN as you ascent up that confounded plateau to flat expanse of nothingness and traffic.
All I need to know about Nashville is @Glitch lives there!
This won't shock you....or anyone else for that matter...but I don't see a single position on either side of the ball that I can point to and say with confidence that will be better this year than last. Nico maybe/hopefully, but there's just so much uncertainty across the board and I'm just not sold on our staff evals and recruiting much less development. On top of that, I've yet to see Heupel come up with the answers to the 3 deep defenses teams are using against us. If we can't spread the field and run at hyper speed, can we win this year with the same offensive plan we used last season? Can our defense match last year's? Lotta doubts in my mind.I think 9 wins. But, that isnt turning the corner, as we should with type of success we have had. Recruiting is such a mixed bag with this staff. Hot and cold.
Maybe they'll address needs in the Spring. Maybe they'll surprise us necks year.
I'm not sure what else Huepel has to do. He has succeeded at a high level since he got here. I do think the road games in Gay nesville and Alabubber are likely L's, until otherwise. This won't shock you....or anyone else for that matter...but I don't see a single position on either side of the ball that I can point to and say with confidence that will be better this year than last. Portal opens up after, but if he was sure of leaving, he wouldn't risk injury in spring ball. Either he's gotten what he wanted from UT or he's going to hedge his bets and go through spring ball then enter the portal. He'd have a lot more leverage with suitors if he kept a bird in hand with UT. No matter how it plays out with Gibson, there's no way I don't hit the portal for at least one, if not two, corners who I think might be able to help me. Right now I don't think you can count on either of last year's starters to be there when the season opens. Unless you're really confident in your recruiting and development, you can't stand pat with the situation as it stands now. When was Gibson expected to hit the Portal - before or after the Spring?
