Wow..... after hearing that story, it just adds a little more to the Legend that is Larry Bird. He is absolutely the best player of all time on the greatest professional team of all time.

As a 54 year old I don't like the scenario happening but as a young guy of 17-22 years of age yes I probably would do what these kids are doing now with NIL out there. If I was a betting man which I am . I was a f'n drug dealer...and I kept my word on deals. Ricky Gibson is a sorry selfish dishonest crooked piece of 💩 that is screwing EVERYBODY over for a few extra bucks..his brothers, his coaches, his school...and us poor stupid sods that make ALL of this possible.

I don't want him back...this was a total garbage move...period...no excuses.

I hate the world we live in.

That makes me suspicious the source of the rumor is an SEC team.

But, really, I don't know how big this is. Is it all over, or just in this thread? Which tempts us to overestimate it?

I just don't get it..not from him, one of my long time VN faves..I guess frustration is just able to make even level headed people lose all perspective sometimes.

I hope Rick Barnes makes a F4...not even for myself and our fanbase, just because if anybody in CBB deserves it...he does.

I will never be able to express the pure gratitude I have for that man giving us a REAL college basketball program...no flash in the pan, but a perinneal top 10 college basketball program.

It means something to me that we are ALWAYS a team that grinds so hard that NOBODY wants to play us...I love that being our identity..to me that exemplifies what a Tennessee Volunteer is.

Because the Osuna case involved Tennessee? idk. Last year it was Ahuna. It is the corrupt and favoritism-happy NCAA, after all.

I suppose they might say they lost against Pavia and wanted a second try; but the distinction between fall and spring sports makes no sense.

Bengals fans are delusional if they believe that The Brown family will pay Jamar Chase $38-$40 mill a season. Tee Higgins $32-$35 mill a season and pay Trey Hendrickson $22-$25 mill a season. We're talking about Paul Brown . Wait is Paul Brown still alive?
