Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Are you returning it to stock? Lifting it, lowering it? 38" Super Swampers? Putting in a nasty cam with a neighbor hater exhaust, whipple supercharger? 4-12" JL w0 with a 2,000w rms amp and MB-quart components? A set of nuts to hang off the rear hitch? A "No Fear" sticker on the back window? . . 🤯, I'd probably do all that (lifted, not lowered) just to get the haters fired up.

I'm gonna lift that old ram 2500 about 4-5" and slap some ridiculous old school Super Swampers on it. Something like like one of these 👀

Middle pic. Top one is too over the top for my tastes lol. Full send on the swampers!

I’m gonna lower my truck. I always lower 2wd and lift 4wd. Prob 20s on front and 22s on back. Definitely nasty cam but understated exhaust, just enough to hear the rumble. I’m too old for the loud exhaust lol. Decent set of heads and aftermarket EFI. The tbi on those trucks are horrible. Prob put some sort of decent sound system, just enough to get a full range of clean sound.

It’s kind of the new reality in college basketball. Gates went from good one year, 0-18 the next year, back to good again. Look at South Carolina this year vs last. And there are examples all over the sport.
Yeah, unless you are at TN's level, every season seems lime a crapshoot.

Look at Musselman. He was building teams through the portal before the portal was a thing. Like by far the best at it in the sport.

Took the job at Nevada then immediately won through the portal. In his four seasons.

24 wins CBI champs
Ncaa 1st round
Swt 16
Ncaa 1st round

Arkansas
Would have danced in the covid year
Elite 8
Elite 8
Swt 16
Then boom, bad portal haul, everything falls apart at Arkansas and he now has at USC and they sit at 14-12 (6-9)

Then Miami is a total train wreck two years removed from the final 4.

Kim could have another meh year next year, or hit in the portal and win the Big East. Crapshoot.

The Mashack take has been unpopular lol 😆 😂 😅 but you knew that.

I like your stat work. I would love to see more data posted in here if you care to share.
Rod Clark calling me stupid didn’t help, haha.

It’s all good though. The intent was never to say Mashack isn’t/wasn’t valuable. That was bad presentation on my part.

Kim English is having a terrible year at Providence

He inherited a great roster from Cooley in year 1.

Transfers
Bryce Hopkins from Kentucky
Corey Floyd Jr. from UConn
Clifton Moore from La Salle
Devin Carter from South Carolina

HS
Jayden Pierre (2022)
Rafael Castro (2021)

He then brought in a few key players from George Mason in Josh Oduro, Davonte Gaines and Justyn Fernandez

But this year Hopkins was hurt, Carter drafted, Garwey Dual (his best HS recruit in first class) transferred out to Seton Hall and they've just not been very good.

He had a really good transfer class, on paper at least...but Cardet, Abdur-Rahim, & Essandoko have all been basically role players off the bench. Joseph is the only one really contributing at a high level

👀 anyone remember

Well first of all the flagrant foul didn’t exist in college basketball until the 2011-12 season. Heck it didn’t even exist in the NBA until 91 and Shaquille was at LSU in 89-92. Second of all most of that wasn’t flagrant at all (that’s what happens down low no matter who you are).

Thirdly, physical is how you played back then. Period.

🤷 Never heard of any Sexual assault allegations towards Micah. Must've slept thru those rumors..
Remember it possibly caused him to slip to the Cowboys.

I want mine like the middle truck, maybe a little lower. I'll probably have to get two sets of wheels & tires, those super swampers are a rough ride. It'll probable take me til 2050 to finish it, unless I hit the lottery. I think I can do everything for around $8k.

I've got a buddy that built the biggest, craziest truck I've ever seen, in honor of this son, who died in a dirt bike/street bike accident I think.
