His surgeon said the surgery went well. She was able to remove the stent and break up the stone and all fragments. She said it’s normally an outpatient procedure but she knew it would be difficult for us to do it outpatient and so wanted to do it before discharge. I still haven’t gotten to see him though. I feel like I have been waiting forever (at the very least I could’ve driven to Nashville by now).
As a fan, the utility of having three very good to elite programs to root for throughout the entire year is much better than just having one. Even if that one is often viewed as the most important (revenue and school perception-wise).
I mean, I would give just about anything to see another football national championship. But the high would wear off after a few days. Right now we go from one solid season to another. Basically fills up the entire calendar year outside of July and August. And that’s for fall camp updates anyway.
I might feel differently if football was still in the gutter. But we just made the playoff and I think Heupel hasn’t reached his ceiling yet here.
